In the department of the Mathematical Simulation work 9 persons, from them 2 candidates of technical sciences
- Alexander Gogava, Teimuraz Tatishvili. Head of the Department is Alexander Gogava.
Guidelines of functioning of the Department:
- Mathematical simulation of vibrations of machine-building constructions;
- Research of vibrations and noise of constructions using numerical finite element and finite differences methods;
- Study of vibrations of manual devices and their influence upon the organism of person.
- In duties of the department also enters a mathematical supply of scientific research of the other institute departments.
During last several years in the Department executed following research work:
- Development of the algorithm and program of calculation of vibrations and sound field of constructions using the method of finite elements. (Leader: Alexander Gogava, Customer: Saint Peterburg Central Institute of Shipbuilding Technology);
- Analysis and syntheses of vibrational and noise features of machine-building designs (Leader: Sergo Dadunashvili, Customer: Moscow Scientific and Production Association Energy);
- Increasing of quality of rolled metal with using the methods of mathematical modeling (Leader: Ramaz Kobiashvili, Customer: Rustavi metallurgical plant).
Following research functioning are developing In the Department:
- Forecasting and noise level reduction in complex mechanical systems (Leader: Alexander Gogava);
- Study and development of efficient facilities for the protection from vibration of system “Operator - Instrument” (Leader: Teimuraz Tatishvili).
