Finger is one of the simplest Internet protocols. It allows you to get information about a person by his/her intenet mail address, you even can find out if your friend is currenly online. There is one restriction - the network you want to connect to has to have finger server installed. TFinger component is completely compatible with rfc 1288.

The files contain full source code of the component and a sample application.

32 bit version of TFinger uses non-blocking socket. It means it will never hang your computer.
