You can safely install new version over your existing version, but it may require the reboot of your computer. To avoid reboot, follow these steps:

If you are running Windows NT/2000/XP (service) version

1. Save downloaded file nssetup.exe on your desktop, or any other location
2. Run Control panel applet, which controls your news server, either using shortcut on your desktop, or from Control Panel
3. Stop the server, by clicking Stop button, or File - Stop
4. Unregister the service, by clicking File - Unregister Service
5. Close Control Panel applet
6. Make sure Control Panel itself is closed
7. Double click the file nssetup.exe, and follow instructions;

If you are running Windows 95/98/Me (not service) version:

1. Run your news server, by double clicking a tray icon, or a shortcut on your desktop
2. Stop the server, by clicking Stop button, or File - Stop
3. Exit from server, by clicking File - Exit
4. Double click the file nssetup.exe, and follow instructions;
