Q I see lots of Connection Reset by Peer error messages in the log of news server. What is wrong?

A Some news readers do not send QUIT command when disconnecting from your server, they are not shutting down the connection gracefully. It is not nice, but it is acceptable. Your server just lets you know that the client misbehaved. There are no reasons to be worrying about these messages.

Q Does your news server exchange articles with other news servers?

A No. It is local news server. It does not mirror other web news servers, and does not transmit its own articles to other news servers.

Our news server is designed for small businesses and families, who want to maintain small newsgroups. Of course, it does not mean that newsgroups, maintained by our server will be not accessible worldwide. Your users just will need to specify news server name or address in their newsgroups readers in order to access your server.
